Anyone who wants to build, convert or renovate is faced with a multitude of questions: What does the development plan stipulate? Do I need to have my building project approved? Where do I submit my building application?

You can contact the staff in the building regulations department with these and other questions about building. Not only citizens are advised by the employees of the building supervision department, but also architects often contact the building supervision department before submitting a building application.

The consultation should only relate to issues that are the subject of the building inspection program or that fall within the scope of building regulations and building planning law.

Issues that do not fall within the remit of the building supervisory authorities are to be clarified directly with the relevant specialist authorities.
