If you would like to vote in an election by postal ballot, you can apply for a polling card/postal ballot.

Eligible voters can apply for a polling card / postal voting documents. The documents are generally sent by post. It is possible to collect them in person.

• No documents are required for the application.

  An application can also be submitted informally.

  However, the following mandatory information is required:

  • Surname,
  • first names,
  • date of birth,
  • registration address.

  If the polling card/postal voting documents are collected in person, a valid photo ID must be presented.

The prerequisite for applying for a polling card or postal voting documents is that the applicant is eligible to vote.

Anyone entitled to vote can apply for a polling card/postal voting documents. The application can be made in person, in writing, by email, by fax or via an online form.
