Risk analysis of power failure for businesses and critical infrastructure facilities in the municipality of Bremerhaven

A standardized survey of >300 companies/facilities in Bremerhaven was conducted to evaluate self-efficacy and the need for government support to maintain vital/relevant critical infrastructures.

Facts on self-sufficiency (running time/fuel supply and so on) and any necessary external replacement supply indicators (without entitlement to provision in the event of an incident) were collected.

The service is a survey form that is intended to provide an initial assessment of the current situation. The questionnaire/service can also be used for evaluation purposes. The evaluation is announced to the KRITIS in a targeted manner.

The companies/facilities surveyed must belong to the so-called critical infrastructures (KRITIS); the final decision on the intended dedication was made by the Bremerhaven fire department, which performs the tasks of the local disaster control authority.

Knowledge is required about the energy source used for the property, which backup supply systems are maintained by the company and the fuel reserves and so on.
