Would you like to bury your pet at the pet cemetery or extend the right of use for an existing grave? Find out more here.
It is not permitted to bury pets on your own property in the state of Bremen. You can purchase the right to use a burial site and have your pet buried at the pet cemetery.
If you have already acquired the right to use a burial plot, you can have this extended.
It must be a pet weighing up to 100 kilograms. If the right of use is extended, the burial site must be an elective burial site.

When using the online service, a SEPA direct debit mandate is mandatory.
You have 2 options for applying for or renewing a burial plot for your pet:
Online
- You can find the online service under "Forms"
- Follow the steps of the online service
In writing
- Enter the grave number
- Name and address of the beneficiary
- Fill in the analogous application form. You can obtain the application form from the Horticultural Office or directly from the pet cemetery
Once the application has been successfully checked and payment has been received, the right to use a grave will be granted or extended.
