A digital BIBCARD with just one click. Pupils in Bremen can create a digital BIBCARD quickly and easily using the school iPads. Find out more here.

With the digital school BIBCARD, up to 3 books can be borrowed from all city libraries and all digital services of the city library, such as LinkedIn Learning, Onleihe and Filmfriend, can be used immediately.

If you want to borrow more, you can have a regular BIBCARD issued at the libraries. You can find out more under "Further information" - "Where can I find out more?" - "Get a library card".

You are a student in Bremen.

• Pupils in Bremen can create a digital BIBCARD on their school iPad.
• The Digital BIBCARD app, which is pre-installed on all school devices, requires the following information:
  • Date of birth
  • Personal ID: This is provided by the school
  • E-mail address
• An additional declaration of consent from the parents is not necessary.
• An account with the city library is created via a link on the iPad and the students immediately receive a BIBCARD number.
• Once registered, the BIBCARD can be transferred not only to the school iPad, but also to the wallet function of the private smartphone and can therefore also be used outside of class.
