Bremer Stadtreinigung offers various services for children, young people and adults to teach them how to treat the environment and its resources responsibly. Advice teams throughout the city provide advice and information to citizens on all topics relating to Bremen's waste disposal system and correct waste separation. They also provide advice at events on the topic of "Almost everything about waste". Children and young people are introduced to these topics in a playful way: In addition to a learning case for daycare centers and elementary school to borrow, extracurricular activities such as the "Tour Global" (from 5th grade) are also offered.

The European Week for Waste Prevention, the Fags Marathon and the Bremen Clean-up Days are also various environmental education measures.

The advisory service also provides information on recycling and effective waste prevention measures such as repair cafés, collection initiatives or used furniture exchanges.
