If you run a craft business, you can apply for a parking permit. This allows you to park in certain areas for the duration of your work assignment.

Vehicles belonging to a craft business can receive a parking permit from the competent authority.

The exemption permit is only valid for certain individual activities of the company.

Please note the exact content of the exemption permit. When using the exemption permit, other people in particular must not be endangered or hindered.

The exemption permit allows the vehicle to be parked free of charge in the

• restricted no-stopping zones
• traffic-calmed areas
• resident parking zones
• at parking meters / parking ticket machines

Type of authorized vehicles

• Trucks and workshop vehicles
• Passenger car / estate car with removed rear seat bench and permanently installed shelf in the rear area of the loading area Demonstration required
• Station wagon with fixed advertising and lashing device or fixed advertising and permanently installed shelf or fixed advertising and roof rack

• Copy of the craftsman's card or trade license
• If it is a leased vehicle, a copy of the leasing contract must be submitted

• You must submit an application for an exemption permit. This can be done using the online form, by fax, by e-mail or by post.
• The authority will check your application and issue the exemption if necessary.
• All documents are also required for the extension of the exemption permit!
• If you regularly visit locations in pedestrian zones outside the delivery times, please note this separately in the application and note the additional fees incurred.
• When changing vehicles: Please submit a copy of the new vehicle registration certificate.
• When giving up the vehicle: Please return the exemption permit to the Bremerhaven road traffic authority.
