If you run a family care facility or a care service, you can apply for a parking permit. This allows you to park in certain areas for the duration of your work assignment.

Family care or care service vehicles can receive a parking permit from the responsible authority. This can, for example, entitle them to park free of charge in restricted parking bans, in resident parking zones or in parking management zones (parking spaces with parking meters or parking ticket machines). The exemption permit is generally only valid for certain individual family care activities.

Please note the exact content of the exemption permit. Above all, when using the exemption permit, other people must not be endangered or hindered.

You run a nursing service or family care business. This also applies if you work as a midwife or in the field of physiotherapy and can provide evidence of frequent home visits to your clients.

• You must submit an application for an exemption permit. This can be done using the online form, by e-mail, by fax or by post.
• The authority will check your application and then issue the exemption if necessary.
• All documents are also required for the extension of the exemption permit!
• If you regularly visit locations in pedestrian zones outside the delivery times, please note this separately in the application and note the additional fees incurred.
• When changing vehicles: Please submit a copy of the new vehicle registration certificate.
• When giving up the vehicle: Please return the exemption permit to the Bremerhaven road traffic authority.
