The prerequisite for participation is that you have been dismissed from the preparatory service of the state of Saxony-Anhalt after completing the legal preparatory service without passing the second legal examination.

After submitting your application, you will be admitted to the examination.

Each examinee is invited by the State Judicial Examination Office to prepare the supervisory work. The written exams take place in April and October of each year. After completion of the work, it is evaluated by 2 examiners. This is followed by a summons for testing. This consists of a file presentation and 5 examination interviews (civil law, criminal law, public law, lawyer and focus).

The examination procedure takes about 6 months.

You must submit the application for admission 6 weeks before the intended examination date.
