If you would like to transfer your parcel boundaries to the local area, then apply for a boundary determination, for example for a construction project.
A boundary determination is necessary if you do not know the course of the boundary or if it is not recognizable to you. If you want to have the local course of one or more of your parcel boundaries indicated, you can apply for this. The reason for this could be a construction project near the boundary, for example when erecting a fence.
The local course of the parcel boundaries recorded in the land register is then officially confirmed as part of a boundary determination procedure. The official marking of points of established parcel boundaries is carried out on site by means of permanent boundary markers, unless the course is sufficiently recognizable by other local conditions.

Fees are charged for the boundary survey.
The fees depend on
- the length of the boundary,
- the number of boundary points determined
- and the standard land value.
If you require precise cost information, please request a cost estimate from the responsible office in advance.
- Submit the application for boundary determination to a competent authority.
- The competent authority establishes the parcel boundaries and places boundary markers in the locality.
