The real estate cadastre is an official register within the meaning of the land register regulations. It contains information on boundaries, parcels of land, buildings and their location and demarcation in the locality. In addition to the geometric shape and the spatial reference system of the properties, the real estate cadastre also contains types of use, yield capacity of the land, area and references to public law regulations (e.g. redevelopment areas). The owner details are recorded for information purposes in accordance with the land register.

You can apply for an extract from the real estate register.

The real estate map is the representative part of the cadastral record kept in the Official Real Estate Cadastre Information System (ALKIS). In the real estate map, all parcels of land and buildings of significance under real estate law are shown in color with their spatial boundaries to scale. The real estate map also contains additional information, such as parcel numbers, usage details, house numbers and location designations.

If you require graphic evidence of your property or building for a construction project or for mortgage lending purposes, you can apply for a corresponding copy of the map. The extract from the real estate map can also be issued with a stored aerial photograph (digital orthophoto) or with the land valuation data.

Kosten

The fees for the use of the real estate cadastre are based on No. 2 of the Special List of Fees and Expenses of the State Office for Surveying, Geoinformation and Land Development (LVGL) and the publicly appointed surveyors of Saarland (GebVerzVerm).

A simple extract from the real estate map in DIN A4 format costs €24.60. The fee increases depending on additional information (owner, dimensions, additional copies, etc.).

Verfahrensablauf

You can apply for information from the real estate cadastre via the LVGL online store https://www.shop.lvgl.saarland.de/, by email, in writing or verbally at a LVGL sales office.

If you apply for the service via the online store, you will receive the documents as a pdf file to download. You will receive an extract (excerpt) from the property map in PDF format when you complete an order, which you can then download to your computer immediately after completing the order. If you have selected further details, e.g. owner or span dimensions and, if applicable, a certification, the entire order will be sent to you by post.

A prerequisite for the provision of owner and span data in particular is a legitimate interest in this data. The State Office for Surveying, Geoinformation and Rural Development reserves the right to check orders accordingly and may refuse to submit them. In such cases, the invoice amount will be reduced by the services not provided.

Bearbeitungsdauer

The processing time depends on the scope of the information. If a simple property map is ordered via the online store, it is usually available for download within an hour. If intensive research is required, processing can take a few days.
