The legal bases are the respective framework examination regulations of the universities and the examination regulations of the respective degree program.
If you have successfully passed your Bachelor's or Master's examination or your state examination, you will receive the final documents from your university, i.e. certificate, diploma and diploma supplement.
After successfully completing your Bachelor's or Master's examination or your state examination, you will receive a certificate containing the grades for the examinations you have completed and an overall grade. The university will also award you a Bachelor's or Master's degree, which will be recorded on the certificate. Some universities will also provide you with a supplementary document (Diploma Supplement) written in German and English, which explains the degree you have obtained in more detail and contains information about the university, the study program, the admission requirements, the study requirements and the course of study as well as the German study system. For the HBKsaar, you will receive this in English upon request.
