As a building owner, you must inform the lower building supervisory authority in text form at least one week in advance of when you wish to start your building project that requires approval or does not require approval.
The same applies if you resume construction after an interruption of more than three months.
If your building project is exempt from procedures, i.e. does not require a building permit or exemption from approval, this notification is not necessary.
You may only start work on your construction project that requires approval or is exempt from approval once you have received the (partial) building permit or an exemption from approval.
You must submit the required structural engineering evidence at the latest with the notification of the start of construction.
