Special use statutes of the municipality

If you want to sell goods or set up an information stand on the street, for example, this is a special use of the street. You must apply for a permit for this.

Application content:

• Applications must specify the location, type and duration of the special use and the size of the required street areas.

Content of the permit:

• The special use permit is generally issued for a limited period or until revoked, subject to change. Conditions are attached to this permit which must be complied with.
• As part of the control activities, unauthorized special uses or non-compliance with the conditions of the special use permit are recorded and appropriate regulatory measures are initiated (e.g. warning, fine, penalty payment, substitute performance).

A special use permit is subject to a fee.
The amount of the fee depends on the special use fee statutes of the respective municipality.

Permit applications must be submitted in writing in good time before the intended special use begins.

Section 79 ThürVwVfG applies to formal legal remedies against administrative acts.
