There are no requirements - every person is granted information from the property register, both at the responsible local land registry office and frompublicly appointed surveyors (ÖbVI).
For data protection reasons, property data is only disclosed to persons who have a legitimate interest. In this case, a written request must be submitted for documentation reasons.

As a rule, minor information is provided free of charge if the time required for the information is less than half an hour's work. If the limit of half an hour is exceeded, the cost of the information will be charged according to the amount of work or time involved.

During an appointment or visit to the customer center of the responsible land registry office or publicly appointed surveyors (ÖbVI), the real estate cadastre can be inspected together with an employee. No photographs are permitted.

Information is provided during the business hours of the land registry office or the publicly appointed surveyors (ÖbVI) without an appointment .
Information can be provided outside office hours by appointment.
