If you want to have an existing parcel divided into several independent parcels, e.g. for sale, you must submit an application to the competent cadastral authority of the county/independent city or to a publicly appointed surveyor.
For the formation of new parcels, either a property survey is carried out or, under certain conditions, the parcel formation is also carried out without local surveying work. The surveying authorities will be happy to explain to you in detail which circumstances apply to your specific individual case.
A property survey is carried out on application or ex officio. Applications may be submitted by property owners or by holders of a right equivalent to immovable property; with their consent, someone else can also make the request.
Fees are charged for the formation of parcels. The fees depend on the number of boundary points, the boundary lengths and the standard land value.
The process is divided into the placing of the order, the on-site surveying including the recognition procedure and the transfer to the real estate cadastre.
In the recognition procedure, the participant in the procedure has 1 month to submit the recognition in writing. If there is no objection, the parcel boundary shall be deemed to have been recognised.
