If you are a member of a Chamber of Crafts and personal or business-related data collected there changes, you must notify the Chamber of Crafts of this.
With the register of craftsmen and the register of the owners of a business of a craft without a licence or a trade-like trade, the Chamber of Crafts keeps two registers in which all craft businesses and businesses of the craft-like trade in the respective chamber district are recorded. In order to keep the stored data up-to-date, there is an obligation to notify of changes, which includes, among other things, the following cases:
- changes of address of the holder(s) or permanent establishment,
- changes in the inventory of permanent establishments,
- changed electronic contact details such as (mobile) telephone and fax numbers or e-mail addresses,
- Changes in personal information about shareholders,
- Changes in authorized representatives of companies.
- Information about the operation:
- Running number
- Company name
- If applicable, the date of entry into force of the data change
- Information on the type of data change (e.g. contact details and addresses as well as other data on persons and permanent establishments)
if applicable: Proof of data change
Business-related data stored by the Chamber of Crafts has changed, in particular:
- Address and contact details of the establishment or a permanent establishment
- Registration or deletion of a permanent establishment
- personal data of the owner
- Data of the management or the shareholders
The specific fee can be found in the schedule of fees of the Chamber of Crafts, which can be accessed on the Chamber's website.
Inform your Chamber of Crafts about a change in personal or business-related data relevant to registration. Notifications of changes can be made in writing or electronically.
- Data of the Crafts Register Modification
- Businesses in the craft sector subject to authorisation are included in the register of craftsmen, while those in the craft or trade-like trade that do not require a licence are included in the register of the owners of a business in a craft that is not subject to authorisation or a trade similar to a craft.
- The register of craftsmen and the register of the owners of a business of a craft that does not require a licence or a trade-like trade are kept by the regionally competent chambers of crafts.
- Among other things, personal data of the entrepreneur(s) as well as data on the business are stored in the registers kept by the Chambers of Crafts, differentiating according to whether it is a sole proprietorship, a partnership or a corporation.
- If data subject to registration, such as addresses or electronic contact details, changes, this must be reported to the relevant Chamber of Crafts.
- Notification of changes to the data must be made, among other things, if:
- address data of sole proprietorships, partnerships or corporations as well as registered permanent establishments change,
- electronic contact details (e.g. telephone number, e-mail address) change,
- information on authorised representatives and shareholders changes,
- a permanent establishment is to be deleted or another permanent establishment is to be registered
- responsible: Chamber of Crafts of which the company is a member.
The Chamber of Crafts in whose district the main commercial establishment is located is responsible.
