You can apply for a severely disabled person's pass from the Brandenburg State Office for Social Affairs and Care (LASV).
The severely disabled person's pass is a nationwide standardized proof of status as a severely disabled person. The prerequisite for the issue of a severely disabled person's pass is the determination of a disability. The assessment notice contains

If the determined GdB is 50 or more, a severely disabled person's pass is issued. The severely disabled person's pass specifies the GdB and other health features (characteristics).
Depending on the GdB and characteristics, certain rights and compensation for disadvantages can be claimed, such as

- entitlement to additional leave
- Early receipt of retirement pension
- income tax concessions
- Reduced or free transportation by bus and train
- Use of parking concessions
- Allowance for the blind
- Allowance for the granting of housing benefit
- Reduction in radio and television fees

The card has the colors green or green-orange. From the age of 10, you will need a passport-sized photo.
If you have applied for a degree of disability and have received a decision with a degree of disability of at least 50, apply informally for an ID card and send a passport photo, stating the reference number.
Depending on the individual case, the average processing time for the application is 3 months
