As an owner, you want to build a new building or modify an existing one in such a way that the floor plan changes.

According to the Hamburg Surveying Act, all buildings must be recorded in the land register. If you build a new building or alter an existing building in such a way that the floor plan changes, you as the owner are obligated to have a survey carried out promptly. This ensures that the official documents remain up to date.
The responsible authority monitors compliance with the building surveying requirement. Once your building is completed, you will be notified in a timely manner so that you can commission the necessary surveying.
