If you keep ducks and geese together with chickens or turkeys, you can obtain confirmation from the responsible authority in order to detect possible infection of the animals with avian influenza at an early stage.
You need this confirmation to be able to exhibit your ducks and geese at a poultry exhibition or poultry market without prior testing for avian influenza.
