If you have problems or conflicts in the exercise of parental responsibility or visitation rights, parenting and family counseling centers offer you support and advice.
If you encounter problems or conflicts when exercising parental responsibility or visitation rights, parenting and family counseling centers can offer you valuable support. They help you to overcome the challenges of parenting, decision-making or regulating visitation. The counselors work with you to find child-friendly solutions that focus on your child's well-being. They can help to defuse disputes, regulate visitation and improve communication between the parents. The goal is to reach an amicable and fair solution for everyone involved.
- You contact the advice center to describe your concerns and to arrange an initial appointment. This can be done by phone, email or in person.
- In the first conversation, you explain your situation and your concerns. This helps the consultants understand your needs and the specific conflicts or challenges.
- If necessary, further appointments will be made for detailed consultations. These discussions can take place alone, with your partner or with the whole family.
- During the consultation, the consultants analyze the situation together with you, identify problem areas and work out possible solutions. Both the legal and the emotional aspects are considered.
- The consultants will help you develop concrete agreements or arrangements to resolve conflicts or optimize the custody plan. This may also include creating written agreements.
- In some cases, follow-up support may be useful to ensure that the agreed solutions are implemented and to clarify any further questions or problems.
- The consultation ends when your concerns have been dealt with and you feel able to take the next steps independently. However, you can still request support if necessary.
- If there are problems with the exercise of parental responsibility or visitation rights or conflicts, parenting and family counseling centers offer support.
- Goal: to find child-friendly solutions that focus on the child’s well-being and achieve a consensual and fair solution for all parties involved.
