If you are experiencing difficulties in your relationship or are going through a separation or divorce, you can get counseling and support.
Parenting and family counseling centers help you to resolve conflicts in your relationship, work out joint solutions and manage the transition to new phases of life. Especially when children are involved, they offer you assistance to ensure the well-being of your children and to strengthen your parenting skills.
- You contact the advice center by telephone, email or in person and briefly describe your concern.
- In an initial conversation, which often takes place over the phone or in person, you will clarify your concerns in more detail. This will determine whether the advice center is the right place to address your questions.
- If the counseling center is suitable for your concerns, an appointment will be made for a detailed consultation.
- Your concerns will be discussed in depth in one or more meetings. Depending on the topic and your needs, you can attend alone, with your partner or with the whole family. The advisors will work with you to find solutions and support you in dealing with your situation.
- If necessary, further steps such as diagnostics, therapeutic measures or referral to specialized facilities can be initiated.
- The consultation ends when you and the consultants feel that your concerns have been adequately addressed and you are able to take the next steps independently.
- Educational and family counseling centers help to resolve conflicts in partnerships, work out common solutions and manage the transition to new phases of life.
- Especially when children are affected, they offer assistance to ensure the well-being of the children and to strengthen parents in their parenting skills.
