If the person responsible for radiation protection changes in your company, you must inform the competent authority.

Radiation protection officers ensure that radiation protection regulations are complied with.

As a company, you must provide the competent authority for radiation protection with details of the person responsible for radiation protection. You must also inform the authority if this person changes.

If, as in the case of group practices, the authorized representative body consists of several members or if there are several persons authorized to represent other associations of persons, you must inform the competent authority which of these persons is responsible for radiation protection.

If the radiation protection officer is a legal entity, you must name all natural persons authorized to represent it and identify the contact person for the authority.

• for doctors: license to practice medicine

• There must be no facts that give rise to concerns about the reliability of the person responsible for radiation protection or the authorized representative.

There are no indications or special features.

• Notification of the performance of the duties of the radiation protection officer Receipt
• In companies that work with ionizing radiation, e.g. operate X-ray equipment, the management of the company or, for example, the hospital, performs the tasks of the radiation protection officer
• Radiation protection officers ensure, among other things, that safe operation
  • sufficient personnel are available
  • the radiation protection regulations are complied with
• Notification to the competent authority must include
  • details of the person responsible for radiation protection; in the case of legal entities, details of the person responsible for radiation protection
  • if a radiation protection officer is not required: Proof of expertise in radiation protection
  • there must be no facts that give rise to concerns about reliability
  • current extract from the commercial register
• The authority must be notified of any change in the person responsible for radiation protection
