If you have concluded a land lease agreement, you must report this to the competent authority within one month.

As the lessor of agricultural land, you must notify the competent authority of the conclusion of a land lease agreement. As a tenant, you can also notify the competent authority.

If the competent authority finds the following conditions during the inspection, it can object to and cancel the land lease agreement:

• the land lease agreement concluded leads to an unhealthy distribution of land, in particular an accumulation of land,
• this results in uneconomic fragmentation or
• the lease price is unreasonably high.

• a copy of the written land lease agreement or
• in the case of an orally concluded land lease agreement: the content of the notification

• You have concluded a land lease agreement.
• Through the land lease agreement you
  • no unhealthy distribution of land, in particular the accumulation of land,
  • no uneconomic fragmentation or
  • an unreasonably high lease price.

There are no costs.

The decision on the objection to a land lease agreement or an amendment to an agreement must be made by the competent authority in writing within one month of notification of the conclusion of the agreement or the amendment to the agreement.

• Notification period: You must notify the competent authority of the land lease agreement one month after signing it.

There are no indications or special features.

• Application to the competent district court for a court ruling against the objection notice

• Land lease agreement regulates the leasing or rental of agricultural land
• both landlords and tenants must notify the conclusion of the land lease agreement
• The competent authority can object to and cancel a land lease agreement if
  • the concluded land lease agreement leads to an unhealthy distribution of land, in particular the accumulation of land
  • this results in uneconomic fragmentation or
  • the lease price is unreasonably high
